This page announces updates to a comprehensive list of medical institutions accepting foreign patients, jointly updated by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and the Japan Tourism Agency. The list aims to ensure safe medical care for increasing international visitors and foreign residents in Japan. Published on December 25, 2025, with subsequent updates in February and March 2026, the list is also available on the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) website in four languages: Japanese, English, and simplified and traditional Chinese, plus Korean. Facilities can be searched by location, supported languages, and medical departments.
