About this page
This page describes the "Council on Long-term Directions in Architecture" held by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. The council discusses the long-term development of buildings and urban areas as social infrastructure. Seven sessions were held from May to September 2025, chaired by Shuichi Matsumura, President of Kobe Design University. The council comprises eight members including university professors, corporate executives, and government officials.
