This page describes administrative notices enacted following the enforcement of amendments to the Road Transport Act on October 1, 2006. Two notices were established: one specifying required information in application documents submitted by entities conducting driver training for private-use paid passenger transport, and another setting standards for damage compensation measures that private-use paid passenger transport operators must implement. Training providers must submit organizational information, training plans, and financial details. Damage compensation insurance must provide minimum coverage of 80 million yen for personal injury and 2 million yen for property damage.
