This page presents the "Rainwater Utilization and Drainage Recycling Equipment Planning Standards" (2016 version) published by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT). The document, updated on April 1, 2016, supersedes the previous "Drainage Recycling and Rainwater Utilization System Planning Standards" as of March 31, 2016. The standards are available in PDF format and require Adobe Acrobat Reader for viewing. The responsible department is the Equipment and Environment Division of the Government Building Department.
