The Nuclear Disaster Countermeasures Headquarters announced the lifting of shipment restrictions on food products under the Nuclear Disaster Countermeasures Special Measures Act. The restrictions are being lifted for venison from wild deer captured in Gunma Prefecture (managed according to the prefecture's shipping and inspection policies) and shiitake mushrooms produced in Zao Town, Miyagi Prefecture (cultivated outdoors using logs and managed according to the prefecture's management plans).
