This page presents the 1086th report on inspection results of radioactive substances in foods, released by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare on June 7, 2018. Following the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident, inspections by 26 municipalities detected 30 instances exceeding safety standards. Gunma prefecture's Koshiabura and Taranome, along with Miyagi prefecture's bamboo shoots, exceeded limits with cesium levels ranging from 110-780 Bq/kg. Emergency monitoring and Fukushima prefecture inspections found 7 additional cases of standard exceedance, primarily in bamboo shoots with detected cesium contamination.
