This page is a press release from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare dated December 26, 2016, regarding the lifting of food shipment restrictions based on the Nuclear Emergency Response Act. Raw milk produced in Tamura City, Minamisoma City, Naraha Town, Kawauchi Village, and Katsurao Village in Fukushima Prefecture has had its shipment restrictions lifted. The affected areas are limited to locations within a 20km radius of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, with difficult-to-return zones excluded from the restrictions.
