This page is a March 18, 2016 press release from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare announcing that the Nuclear Disaster Response Headquarters has lifted the shipment restriction on rice produced in fiscal year 2013 in Kuriharashi (limited to former Sawabe Village area), Miyagi Prefecture, based on Article 20, Paragraph 2 of the Nuclear Disaster Countermeasures Special Measures Act. The instruction was issued on the date of this announcement, allowing rice shipments from this region to resume.
