This page is a press release from Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare dated December 3, 2015, announcing the lifting of food shipment restrictions. The Nuclear Disaster Countermeasures Headquarters lifted restrictions on chestnuts produced in Nihonmatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture, and tiger pufferfish caught off the coast of Fukushima Prefecture. Both items had been subject to shipment restrictions under the Nuclear Disaster Countermeasures Special Measures Law but met safety standards for radioactive contamination.
