This page is a press release from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare dated September 30, 2015, announcing the lifting of food shipment restrictions under the Nuclear Disaster Countermeasures Special Measures Law. The Nuclear Disaster Countermeasures Headquarters instructed the removal of shipment restrictions on wild char and yamame from Sukawa tributary in Fukushima, wild char from Iwai River in Iwate, and wild yamame from Abukuma River in Miyagi. The restrictions were lifted following applications from each prefecture based on safety assessments.
