This page is a press release from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare dated September 28, 2015, reporting the 949th inspection results of radioactive substances in food related to the Fukushima nuclear accident. The survey covers 23 municipalities nationwide. One sample of iwana (char) from Miyagi Prefecture and one of yamame (cherry salmon) from Fukushima Prefecture exceeded the safety standards. Detailed inspection results are provided in PDF files, including information on radioactive cesium detection and product origins.
