It announces the lifting of food shipment restrictions based on the Nuclear Disaster Countermeasures Act. The restrictions on bamboo shoots produced in Shiraishi City and Marumori Town in Miyagi Prefecture, and in Toride City in Ibaraki Prefecture, have been lifted. The decision follows applications from the respective prefectures and instructions from the Nuclear Disaster Countermeasures Headquarters director.
