This page is a press release from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare dated December 11, 2014, announcing the lifting of food shipment restrictions. The Nuclear Disaster Countermeasures Headquarters instructed the removal of shipment restrictions on wild iwana (char) caught below the Uwada Dam in the Tadami River in Fukushima Prefecture, excluding farmed specimens. The decision was made under the Special Measures Law Concerning Nuclear Disaster Countermeasures. Detailed directives and Fukushima's application are attached as supplementary materials.
