This page is a press release from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare dated October 2, 2014, announcing food shipment restrictions by the Nuclear Disaster Countermeasures Headquarters. Wild mushrooms collected in Yanizu Town, Fukushima Prefecture, exceeded the safety standard at 110 Bq/kg, triggering a shipment restriction order. Based on the Nuclear Disaster Countermeasures Special Measures Act Article 20, Section 2, the headquarters directed Fukushima Prefecture to implement the restriction.
