This page is a press release from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare dated July 31, 2014, announcing that the Nuclear Emergency Response Headquarters has lifted the shipment restriction on Japanese dace (ugui) caught in the Kesengawa River (including tributaries) in Iwate Prefecture under Article 20, Section 2 of the Nuclear Disaster Countermeasures Special Measures Act. The restriction, which had been in effect, was officially lifted by directive of the headquarters director.
