This page is a press release from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare dated July 11, 2014, regarding the lifting of food shipment restrictions. The Nuclear Disaster Countermeasures Headquarters ordered the lifting of shipment restrictions on raw shiitake mushrooms (facility cultivation) produced in Date City and Shinchi Town, Fukushima Prefecture, based on inspection results. Those produced in Date City are subject to management according to the prefecture's management plan. This decision was made under the provisions of Article 20, Paragraph 2 of the Nuclear Disaster Countermeasures Special Measures Law.
