This page is a press release from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare dated March 13, 2014. The Nuclear Disaster Countermeasures Headquarters announced the lifting of shipment restrictions on certain food products from Fukushima Prefecture, based on the Act on Special Measures Concerning Nuclear Disaster Countermeasures. The restrictions were lifted for azuki beans produced in former Oozaso Village of Fukushima City and former Ishigami Village of Minamisoma City, and soybeans from former Takano Village of Koriyama City and former Naganuma Town of Sukagawa City. These products will be managed according to management plans established by Fukushima Prefecture.
