This page announces the results of public comments regarding amendments to the "Comprehensive Supervisory Guidelines for Insurance Companies" by the Financial Services Agency. Between December 17, 2024, and January 30, 2025, 97 comments were received from 14 individuals and organizations. The amendments, based on reports from expert committees and the Financial System Council, address insurance claim payment management systems, business promotion systems, and cooperation between insurance agents and brokers. The revised guidelines will be applied from June 1, 2025.
