This page reports that Tokyo Metropolitan Police arrested the leader of a subordinate organization under Yakuza gang "Kohei-ikka" and five members on suspicion of false imprisonment and aggravated robbery. The suspects allegedly confined a man in a building in Toshima ward from late February 22 to early February 23, assaulted him, and stole a necklace valued at 900,000 yen. The victim was a gang member who later withdrew from the organization. Police established special countermeasures against the gang's involvement in various crimes linked to anonymous crime groups.
