This page features the "Maneki-neko (Lucky Cat) Museum" in Seto, Aichi Prefecture. The museum houses approximately 7,000 lucky cats collected from across Japan, including valuable pieces from the Taisho era and an original artwork of "Nyaromen" by the late cartoonist Fujio Akatsuka. Lucky cats originated in the late Edo period and began mass production in Seto during the Meiji era. Established in Gunma in 2000, the museum relocated to Seto in 2005. It attracts over 10,000 visitors annually, including many international tourists.
