This page reports a fatal traffic accident in Totsuka Ward, Yokohama on April 2nd around 5:30 PM. An 8-year-old third-grade girl, Yui Nakanishi, was struck by a car while crossing a pedestrian crossing and died at the hospital. The 20-year-old driver was arrested at the scene on suspicion of negligent driving resulting in death. The accident occurred at an unmarked T-junction intersection approximately 1 kilometer southwest of JR Totsuka Station.
