A large truck collided with congested vehicles, killing six people including three children. Police conducted an on-site investigation with the truck driver, Mizutani Mizuyo (54), arrested on suspicion of negligent driving resulting in death. Due to severe body damage, identification of all victims remains incomplete two weeks after the accident. The suspect admitted to not watching the road ahead.
