This page presents the Construction Order Statistics Survey Report for January 2026 from Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. The survey monitors construction order trends among approximately 12,000 contractors selected from approximately 480,000 licensed construction firms nationwide. The data is categorized by client type, industry, work type, and region to provide foundational information for construction administration policy. A new estimation methodology has been applied since April 2021. Attached resources include press release materials, time-series data on orders, regional and industry breakdowns, and separate analyses for public and private construction projects in Excel and PDF formats.
