This page presents the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's report on radioactive materials testing results in food (Report No. 1088) released on June 21, 2018. Following the Fukushima nuclear accident, it compiles testing results conducted by municipalities. Local government tests from 26 areas reported 3 cases exceeding safety standards (wild boar meat from Miyagi Prefecture). Fukushima Prefecture's emergency monitoring detected 11 excess cases (Japanese bamboo shoots). The National Institute of Health Sciences reported no exceedances.
