This page presents the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's food radioactivity inspection results (Report No. 1080) dated April 19, 2018, following the Fukushima nuclear accident. Inspections from 22 municipalities nationwide found no exceedances of regulatory standards. However, emergency monitoring in Fukushima Prefecture detected exceedances in two samples of yamame fish and one sample of wild boar meat. The National Institute of Health Sciences also found one exceedance in Japanese aralia shoots from Gunma Prefecture. Detailed results are available in PDF documents.
