This page presents the 997th report on radioactive material test results in food following the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident. As of September 5, 2016, inspections by 31 local municipalities found 6 cases exceeding safety limits in wild boar, black bear, and Japanese deer meat from Miyagi Prefecture, with cesium levels ranging from 120 to 480 Bq/kg. Emergency monitoring, Fukushima Prefecture testing, and the National Institute of Health Sciences detected no exceedances. Detailed results are available in attached PDF files.
