This page presents the 976th report on radioactive substance test results in food published by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare on April 12, 2016. Following the Fukushima nuclear accident, the results compile food safety inspections conducted by 20 municipalities including Sapporo, Aomori, and Iwate prefectures. One instance exceeded safety standards: wild char from Iwate Prefecture with 170 Bq/kg of cesium. Emergency monitoring and Fukushima Prefecture tests showed no exceedances.
