The Nuclear Disaster Countermeasures Headquarters instructed the removal of shipment restrictions on nibe and meitakarei (fish species) caught off Fukushima Prefecture. The restrictions had previously been imposed as a precautionary measure following the nuclear disaster, and their lifting allows these fish products to resume distribution.
