This page is a press release from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare dated August 25, 2014, regarding food shipment restrictions under the Nuclear Disaster Countermeasures Special Measures Act. A shipment restriction was newly imposed on wild mushrooms (430Bq/kg) collected in Nishiaizu Town, Fukushima Prefecture. Conversely, shipment restrictions were lifted on crucian carp captured in the Ookawa River in Iwate and Miyagi Prefectures, and on char (excluding farmed specimens) captured in the Tadami River between Honna and Ueda Dams in Fukushima Prefecture. These directives were issued by the Nuclear Disaster Countermeasures Headquarters.
