This page presents the 868th report on radioactive material test results in food published by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare on April 17, 2014. Related to the Fukushima nuclear accident, it reports inspection results obtained from 20 municipalities nationwide. Four items exceeded safety standards: one Tara-no-me (Japanese angelica tree shoots) from Tochigi Prefecture with 220 Bq/kg of cesium, and three raw shiitake mushrooms from Ibaraki Prefecture with 120-140 Bq/kg. Emergency monitoring showed no exceedances. Tests targeted radioactive cesium, with detailed results available in PDF documents.
