This page announces the results of public comments on the "Corporate Transaction Study Group Report" released by the Fair Trade Commission and Small and Medium Enterprise Agency. The study group, established in July 2024, examined how to regulate abuse of superior bargaining position and reform the Subcontracting Act to establish appropriate price pass-through as a new business practice throughout supply chains. After publishing the report on December 25, 2024, the agencies collected 111 public comments by January 23, 2025. Both agencies will continue examining amendments to the Subcontracting Act based on the report and feedback received.
