This page presents the fiscal 2020 operational status of the Subcontracting Law in the Kyushu region, released by the Fair Trade Commission's Kyushu Office on June 29, 2021. Document surveys covered 3,700 parent businesses and 14,700 subcontractors. There were 471 violation cases handled: 421 procedural violations and 518 substantive violations. Major violations included payment delays (296 cases), price reductions (103 cases), and forced price cuts (61 cases). The FTC conducted 8 basic training sessions and 5 promotional workshops across 4 prefectures to promote fair subcontracting transactions.
