This page discusses sanitation measures during disaster recovery from flood summits. Epidemic prevention measures aim to maintain cleanliness as voluntary administrative services but cannot be implemented uniformly, resulting in poor efficiency in pesticide spraying and increased administrative burden for identifying target households and categorizing spray locations. In densely populated urban areas, implementation is challenging, with disinfection limited to distributing disinfectant and slaked lime, and damage assessments delegated to neighborhood association leaders. Consequently, adequate responses were not achieved in many cases. Specific issues addressed include epidemic prevention, garbage disposal and collection, industrial waste handling, driftwood disposal, and mud treatment.
