This page presents the 1067th report on radioactive material test results in foods released by Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare on January 18, 2018. Following the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident, municipalities nationwide conduct food safety inspections. Twenty-six local governments participated in testing. Four cases exceeded safety limits—all wild boar meat containing cesium: one from Tochigi Prefecture and three from Miyagi Prefecture. Emergency monitoring and Fukushima Prefecture tests, along with National Institute of Health Sciences inspections, showed no exceedances. Detailed results are available in PDF documents.
