This page reports the enforcement status of the Unfair Competition Prevention Act (景品表示法) in the Chubu district during fiscal year 2022. The Fair Trade Commission processed seven guidance cases in total, comprising six display cases (five cases of misrepresentation of quality, one case of misrepresentation of terms) and one premium case. The office received 387 inquiries regarding gift limit amounts, dual pricing, and bait-and-switch advertising. The Commission conducted 21 lecturer dispatches to consumer groups and universities for public awareness activities.
