This page presents the 911th report on radioactive substance test results in food released by Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare on January 5, 2015. Following the Fukushima nuclear accident, it compiles inspection results from 33 municipalities nationwide. Six cases exceeded safety standards—all involving game meat from Gunma Prefecture: five samples of Japanese deer meat and one of Asian black bear meat. Emergency monitoring by Fukushima Prefecture and tests by the National Institute of Health Sciences found no exceedances of safety limits.
