This page presents the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's report on radioactive substances in food (Report No. 1062) released on December 7, 2017. Following the Fukushima nuclear accident, testing was conducted across 30 municipalities nationwide. Eight items exceeded safety standards: one deer meat from Iwate, five wild boar meat from Miyagi, one sika deer meat from Miyagi, and one shiitake mushroom from Chiba. Emergency monitoring and Fukushima Prefecture tests showed no exceedances. The National Institute of Health Sciences testing also found no violations of safety standards.
