This page announces the recognition of business foundation strengthening plans by shipbuilders pursuing productivity improvements under the Maritime Industry Strengthening Act as of September 30, 2024. Two companies, Higaki Shipbuilding and Ura Kyodo Shipyard, received new recognition. In total, 38 groups and 56 companies have been recognized. These shipbuilders develop environmentally friendly vessels and implement DX-driven production efficiency. Recognized companies can utilize various support measures, and shipping companies can also access support when introducing superior vessels built by these recognized builders.
