This page presents the 1072nd report on radioactive material inspection results in food published by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare on February 22, 2018, following the Fukushima nuclear accident. The results from 26 municipalities nationwide and Fukushima Prefecture show nine cases exceeding safety standards. Three cases involved wild boar meat from Miyagi Prefecture, four from Fukushima Prefecture, and two involved Japanese black bear meat from Fukushima, all with excess cesium levels.
