This page presents the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's 973rd report on radioactive material test results in foods (March 22, 2016), following the Fukushima nuclear accident. Test results from 33 municipalities nationwide are summarized. Six food samples exceeded safety standards: wild boar meat from Miyagi Prefecture and sika deer, wild boar, and Asiatic black bear meat from Gunma Prefecture. Emergency monitoring and Fukushima Prefecture tests showed no exceeded standards. Detailed results are available in PDF documents.
