This page presents the 1035th report on radioactive substance test results in foods published by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare on May 29, 2017. Following the Fukushima nuclear accident, the results from municipal and other testing are compiled. Six items exceeded safety standards in municipal tests, and four items exceeded standards in tests by the National Institute of Health Sciences. Exceeded items include wild fuki, wild boar meat, wild bamboo shoots, and shiitake mushrooms from Niigata, Nagano, Iwate, Gunma, and Miyagi prefectures. Emergency monitoring and Fukushima prefecture tests showed no exceedances.
