This page presents the 2020 Minister's Award for excellent environmental conservation in transportation sector. Two organizations were awarded in the eco-commuting category. The Aichi Eco-Mobility Life Promotion Council promotes eco-friendly transportation through prefecture-wide eco-commuting days and incorporation into public procurement evaluations. The Kasumigaura District Environmental Action Promotion Council advances eco-commuting and bicycle commuting through inter-company cooperation and environmental volunteer activities, reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Both organizations received certificates from the Vice Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism on December 22, 2020.
