The Nuclear Disaster Response Headquarters announced the lifting of shipping and consumption restrictions on food products based on the Nuclear Emergency Act. The restrictions were lifted for leafy vegetables and brassica crops produced in Minamisoma City, Kawamata Town, and Katsurao Village in Fukushima Prefecture, yuzu from Koori Town in Fukushima, and bear meat captured in Yamagata Prefecture. These products were cleared for market distribution after confirming radiation safety through inspections based on applications from each prefecture.
